New resorts available to Compass Premier members on Mexico's Caribbean coast include Park Royal Pirámides Cancún and Hyatt Cancún Caribe, both set centrally in the purpose-built resort town of Cancún, one of the world's glamour spots with its eight miles of white-sand beaches backed by waving palms.

Golf, fishing, sailing, scuba diving and every other imaginable variety of water sports are among the attractions on offer in the blazing tropical sunshine of perhaps Mexico's best-known international resort.

Also on the country's Caribbean coast is Park Royal Cozumel, set on an island 40 miles south of Cancún. Again the attractions are tropical beaches and sunshine and an array of water sports (Cozumel is one of the best locations in the world for snorkelling and scuba diving) and other leisure activities.

Far away on the Pacific coast are Park Royal Villas Ixtapa and Park Royal Los Tules. The former is set in beautiful Zihuanatejo, while the latter is situated 300 miles to the north in Puerto Vallarta, a vibrant resort town surrounded by spectacular landscapes.
